Privacy Policy — Ludi & ludicloud

This privacy policy explains what personal data we process when you use the Ludi apps and/or the

ludicloud services, and how we handle your data. We take your privacy seriously and process your data

in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

2. Data we process

We only process the data that is necessary to provide our services:

• Account data: your e-mail address and profile name provided when you create an account.
• Profile data: profiles you create within your account.
• Watch progress: the position up to which you have watched episodes/movies.
• Favourites: channels, series and movies you have selected.
• Technical data required for the operation of the cloud service (such as an account identifier).

Important: your provider login details and IPTV credentials (such as username, password and URL

of your IPTV provider) are stored only locally on your device. They are never sent to

ludicloud.com and we have no access to them whatsoever.

3. Purposes of processing

We process your data solely for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your account;
• Providing the (optional) cloud synchronisation of your profiles, watch progress and favourites, so

they are available across all your devices;

• Improving, securing and maintaining the service;
• Responding to customer-support enquiries.

We never sell your data to third parties and do not process it for advertising purposes.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the following grounds:

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — necessary to provide the service you agreed to

when creating an account;

• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for the security and maintenance of the service;
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — where we ask for your consent (e.g. for optional features), you may

withdraw that consent at any time.

5. Retention period

We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is

processed. Account data is kept as long as your account is active. When you delete or terminate your

account, your data is removed within a reasonable period, unless we are legally obliged to retain it

for longer.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we process about you;
• have inaccurate or incomplete data rectified;
• have your data erased (right to be forgotten);
• object to processing;
• lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (for the Netherlands: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens,

www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl);

• request and receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit

it to another controller (data portability).

You can exercise these rights by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. We will respond within

one month. For verification purposes we may ask you to prove your identity.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data:

• Data transfer to and from ludicloud.com is encrypted (TLS/HTTPS);
• Data is stored encrypted;
• Provider credentials are never stored on our servers and are kept only locally on your device.

8. Cookies

Our cloud service and the Ludi apps do not use tracking cookies. We only use technically necessary

session and storage mechanisms required for the operation of the service (such as keeping your login

session). These contain no advertising or tracking functionality.

9. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

We aim to process your data within the European Economic Area (EEA). If data is nevertheless processed

outside the EEA, we only do so with appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.

10. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The most recent version is always available on our

website. In the event of significant changes, we will inform you in a timely manner.
